Car Hire
Our cars are part of our everyday lives and we can’t imagine being without them. However if your car was stolen and not recovered or you were involved in an accident and we agree that your car was a total loss, you may find yourself without a car for a period of time.
That would be a real inconvenience as we go about our busy lives. You may be left having to rely on others, or catching the bus or train.
Add our Car Hire to your policy and if your car is stolen and not recovered or we agree with you that it is a total loss, you will get a similar type and sized hire car by the end of the next working day for up to 21 days whilst we sort out your claim. If you wish to extend the hire period beyond this date you can do so at discounted rates and at your own expense.
You have 14 days to take up the offer of the hire car following the agreement that your car is a total loss and whilst the claim is ongoing.
The Car Hire offers you the following:
- Up to 3 weeks car hire while we sort out your claim.
- We can collect you from your home or work to pick up the car.
- Car hire cover for all named drivers on your policy.
- Easy to add on to new and existing policies.
Please note if we issue you with a settlement payment within the 21 days, you must return the hire car within 48 hours of the payment being issued.
